We are learning new details about more alleged misconduct by the Bradley County Sheriff.

Last week, we reported to you that Watson was booked at the Bradley County Jail Friday morning, after being indicted on six separate charges of using six vehicles that he knew to have been altered, falsified or forged. Watson’s attorney Jim Logan says his client is not guilty.

Now, through an open records request, NewsChannel 9 learned of a new incident that also has him under scrutiny.

On Monday, we received a communication log and police radio traffic from an incident involving the Sheriff in April.

Sheriff Watson under new scrutiny – 6pm report

According to the communications log, Sheriff Watson initiated a search for one of the clients of his wife, Tenille, who is a bail bondsman in Bradley County.

The records show the search tied up seven officers and a dog from the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office for about 5 hours.

We asked Georgia State Patrol for dashcam video from that day. So far, we haven’t heard back.

Depend on us to keep you posted on this developing story.”
