“NewsChannel 9 has confirmed with Watson’s attorney that the trial has been delayed from the original starting date of November 27th.
Explaining the delay, attorney Jim Logan only told us that “big issues exist.”

NewsChannel 9 has confirmed with Bradley County Criminal Court that the trial for Sheriff Watson is scheduled for November 27th, 28th, and 29th.

PREVIOUSLY:
We are learning new details about more alleged misconduct by the Bradley County Sheriff.
Last week, we reported to you that Watson was booked at the Bradley County Jail Friday morning, after being indicted on six separate charges of using six vehicles that he knew to have been altered, falsified or forged. Watson’s attorney Jim Logan says his client is not guilty.
Now, through an open records request, NewsChannel 9 learned of a new incident that also has him under scrutiny.
On Monday, we received a communication log and police radio traffic from an incident involving the Sheriff in April.
